The Port of Huelva<\/strong> takes a new step towards a smarter, more connected and more efficient port model with the implementation of a new Port Services Management Platform<\/strong>, developed on the technology of AMURA Smartport Ecosystem Solutions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project, awarded to H\u00edades Business Patterns S.L.<\/strong> by the Port Authority of Huelva<\/strong>, represents a significant advance in the digitalisation of port operations and aims to improve the coordination, exchange of information and efficiency of services linked to maritime traffic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiative will allow the Port of Huelva<\/strong> move towards a more integrated management of its operations, facilitating communication and coordination between the different actors that are part of its port ecosystem: maritime services, customs, transport and logistics companies, concessionaires and technical-nautical operators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AMURA, technology for a more connected Port of Huelva<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The solution is integrated into the technology ecosystem AMURA<\/strong>, developed to respond to the digitization needs of Port Authorities, Maritime and Port Traffic Control Centres and nautical technical operators<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the case of the Port of Huelva, the platform will allow centralize and manage information in real time<\/strong>, facilitating a more complete view of operations and improving the coordination capacity between the different port agents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The solution is based on a technological architecture Powered by FIWARE<\/strong>, using Orion Context Broker<\/strong> as a main component and following the standard NGSI<\/strong> for the bidirectional integration of contextual information from third parties. It also provides a REST API<\/strong> and uses Smart Data Models<\/strong>, promoting interoperability and data exchange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This architecture will allow the Port of Huelva to have a platform prepared for the Real-time monitoring, process automation, resource optimization and more efficient management of port data<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A digital ecosystem at the service of port efficiency<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The implementation of this platform is part of the strategy of the Port of Huelva<\/strong> to strengthen its position as one of the main port and logistics nodes, especially in areas such as bulk transport and intermodal logistics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project also includes the participation of NextPort<\/strong>, which will provide machine learning and optimization capabilities, strengthening the possibilities for analysis and improvement of port operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The implementation began in September 2023 and is planned to take place during the 30 months<\/strong>, with the aim of generating substantial improvements in the operational efficiency of the Port of Huelva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the initiative is part of the Sustainable and Digital Transport Support Programme<\/strong>, within the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR)<\/strong> and financed by the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism (RRM)<\/strong> of the funds NextGenerationEU<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this project, the Port of Huelva<\/strong> continues to move towards a model of Smart Port<\/strong>, where digitalization, interoperability and the intelligent use of data become key elements to improve the efficiency, coordination and competitiveness of their operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
