{"id":670,"date":"2025-09-20T09:38:00","date_gmt":"2025-09-20T09:38:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amurasolutions.com\/?p=670"},"modified":"2026-08-18T09:45:47","modified_gmt":"2026-08-18T09:45:47","slug":"we-participate-in-the-development-of-the-smart-maritime-corridors-of-the-european-project-nelson","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amurasolutions.com\/index.php\/en\/2025\/09\/20\/we-participate-in-the-development-of-the-smart-maritime-corridors-of-the-european-project-nelson\/","title":{"rendered":"We participate in the development of the smart maritime corridors of the European project NELSON"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following the announcement made by\u00a0<strong>Fintraffic Vessel Traffic Services Ltd<\/strong>, project coordinator\u00a0<strong>NELSON (Nautical Efficiency and Safety with Digital Solutions for Future Smart Fairways)<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Hiades Business Patterns S.L.<\/strong>\u00a0is pleased to announce its participation in this European initiative that will promote the digitalization, safety and sustainability of maritime traffic in the\u00a0<strong>Finland, Sweden and Spain<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the Nordic countries (<strong>Finland<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Sweden<\/strong>), the main operating case focuses on the\u00a0<strong>Remote Pilotage<\/strong>, while in\u00a0<strong>Spain<\/strong>\u00a0The focus is on the\u00a0<strong>Development of solutions to support decision-making and operational risk management<\/strong>.<br>The project will take place in the\u00a0<strong>Baltic Sea, the Spanish Atlantic, the Mediterranean and the Canary Islands<\/strong>, integrating international technologies and standards such as\u00a0<strong>S-100, S-200, S-421, VDES, MCP, Artificial Intelligence, IoT, and Edge Computing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Hiades leads the WP6 work package \u2013 &#8216;Spanish Maritime Digital Services&#8217;<\/strong>, whose mission is to establish a\u00a0<strong>National Maritime Digital Services Platform<\/strong>\u00a0that integrates port call services, maritime traffic management and interoperable vessel routes with VTS (Vessel Traffic Services) systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, Hiades will develop digital tools for\u00a0<strong>Operational risk management and decision support<\/strong>\u00a0for port authorities, pilot corporations and control centers, promoting a safer and more efficient navigation environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The tests and validations of the solutions will be carried out both in the\u00a0<strong>Peninsular Spain<\/strong>\u00a0as in the\u00a0<strong>Canary Islands<\/strong>, consolidating a replicable operational framework at European level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hiades&#8217; participation in NELSON has the\u00a0<strong>Institutional and operational support<\/strong>\u00a0of various authorities and entities of the Spanish maritime sector, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Valenciaport<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ports of the Balearic Islands<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Port of Barcelona<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Port Authority of Huelva<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fred.
