PAULA (Automatic Liaison Agents Platform), is a pioneering tool in the maritime-port sector. It facilitates the exchange of data in real time between all the agents involved in port call processes. The tool can be customized to the characteristics and particularities of each port and its operation. Thanks to this new software, authorities and operators will be able to increase the efficiency of port call processes, helping to reduce response time and, therefore, improving the efficiency of the ports themselves.
PAULA aims to reduce the environmental impact of ships in port waters, optimizing processes and minimizing unproductive times (anchorages, delays, idle times, etc.) and unnecessary energy consumption. It supports and facilitates the coordination of operations and the decision-making process through estimates of upcoming events, based both on the experience of stakeholders and on the analysis of historical data, and the exchange of data in real time between the agents involved in the scale-in processes.
