In an effort to optimize operational efficiency, improve safety and logistics planning at ports of Palma and Valencia, the Corporación de Prácticos de Palma, Prácticos de Valencia and the technology company Híades, have signed a pioneering collaboration agreement for two-way data exchange between ports.
This agreement is designed to drive technological integration and modernization in port management, using advanced solutions that will facilitate real-time decision-making.
The suite of intelligent solutions Amura, software developed by the technology company Híades, will allow the management and exchange of data related to port calls and events, thus improving coordination and operational efficiency between the control and practical centers of both ports.
The agreement also contemplates the implementation of the communication platform Aurora which will facilitate the exchange of data related to port stopovers, events and novelties, strengthening coordination and operational efficiency between both ports and complying with the international maritime regulations proposed by the IMO, IHO and IALA organizations for the transmission of digital data in the sector.
This will ensure that operational decisions are made based on accurate and timely information, thus optimizing the efficiency of both ports and minimizing the risks associated with lack of coordination.
An Agreement with an Eye to the Future
This agreement marks a milestone in the modernization of port management in Spain and represents an example of how collaboration between key players in the sector, together with the adoption of advanced technologies, can transform the operation of ports and contribute to a more efficient and safe organization of traffic.
As this project progresses, the three entities involved will continue to explore new ways to innovate and optimize their operations, with the aim of staying at the forefront of the global port landscape.
