The agenda addressed crucial topics: digital transformation and port automation; decarbonization and sustainability; city-port governance; security and organized crime; global shipping strategies; regional logistics integration; and use of artificial intelligence and IoT.
An added value was the technical visits to emblematic infrastructures such as the ports of the Callao y Chancay, which allowed participants to learn first-hand about strategic investments and operational advances that position Peru as a hub in the South Pacific.
In addition, during the opening and closing ceremonies, key agreements were signed: a protocol of action with Ports of the State of Spain and a memorandum of understanding with the Free Trade Zones Association of the Americas (AZFA). He also highlighted the presentation of the AAPA-CIP/OAS Awards and the first AAPA LATAM Legacy Awards, initiatives to recognize the trajectory and the most relevant contributions to the sector.
